May 10, 2004 — Mason, West Virginia. The first game on the road. A wonderful evening for playing in the dirt.
May 8, 2004 — Chester, Ohio. A parade and a game all for the price of one. Wow! Great fun and a good game.
May 6, 2004 — Chester, Ohio. Tonight the team had a rough go of it against Harrisonville as only five members of the team were able to make it for one reason or other. Better days will come. Below are a few of the better photos taken that day. Click on any of them to enlarge them.
May 3, 2004 — Chester, Ohio. The team had its first game against Tuppers Plains tonight. From what I heard, everyone had a good time. The game was called after three innings due to the cold.
April 20, 2004 — Chester, Ohio. Practice with three team members present went pretty well until assistant coach Nick decided to run for a water hole. The players loved it and the parents howled with laughter as the children played in the mud. Nick came home drenched and covered with mud. The players and clothes will clean and likely be no worse for the wear. From the description I heard, a few good memories were made at what could have been a fairly routine and otherwise forgettable practice. If only we had a few photos of the event to post here.
April 10, 2004 — Chester, Ohio. The team chose red and blue colors for their uniforms and “Rugrats” as their name. Opening day is April 24 in Chester. Check back for additional details and photos as they become available.
